Employers are responsible for the health and safety of their employees. The Adapted Posture Alarm (API) contributes to this by helping to reflexively adopt the correct postures.
Integrated into the safety vest, it helps reduce the number of back injuries on the job. When the wearer of the API adopts a potentially dangerous posture (angle > 45°), he or she is instantly reminded of the correct posture by the triggering of the alarm (audible beep). This alarm induces a reflex correction of the handler's posture.
This version: yellow reflective vest with buzzer, washable (buzzer device detachable by velcro), available in sizes L, XXL and 3XL. Operates on 2 CR2032 batteries (included).

The API has been adopted in a wide variety of sectors, from logistics to car production lines, from the civil service to training centers, not forgetting construction, temporary work agencies, etc... the API is used by trades where handlers have to carry out heavy work.The API is used in trades where handlers have to carry out residual manual handling, but its educational and playful nature, and the fact that it is adapted to a high-visibility vest, make it ideal for use in the workplace.The fact that it is adapted to a high-visibility vest represents real added value for companies looking for innovative health and safety solutions. Wearing the API periodically in 3 or 4-day campaigns is all it takes to put a lasting stop to bad posture. Some activities don't allow you to wear a high-visibility vest, but that's no problem: the API can be integrated into any garment. In fact, at the request of certain customers, we fit velcro fasteners inside jackets. A.P.I. alarms its user with a non-aggressive sound when the user bends his or her torso forward to form an angle of around 60° (+/- 10°) with his or her legs. So, throughout handling operations, A.P.I will remind you to bend your legs to protect your back.

Warranty: A.P.I is guaranteed for 6 months parts and labor from date of purchase (see invoice). This warranty does not cover deliberate and/or accidental damage, or any proven damage resulting from abnormal use. If the device is opened by unauthorized personnel, if the fabric envelope is torn or ripped, or if the device is immersed, the warranty ceases to exist (only the manufacturer is authorized to carry out maintenance on A.P.I.).
Precautions for use: Do not immerse. Cut the circuit using the switch after each use to ensure optimum battery life.
Warning: Never attempt to recharge, disassemble or short-circuit the battery. Never touch it with a soldering iron or expose it to heat. Do not dispose of in fire or water. If battery fluid accidentally enters your eyes, do not rub them. Rinse with water and consult a doctor immediately. Improper use of the battery may cause it to leak. Battery fluid is corrosive and can damage contaminated surfaces, creating a risk of fire and injury. For your own safety, please observe the precautions detailed in this manual. IMPORTANT: The device has not been tested for operation in ATEX environments.
