NF EN 14404+A1 STANDARD
The NF EN 14404 +A1 standard defines the requirements for knee protection in all
work activities requiring kneeling. Kneeling
is not a natural position. Without protection, workers can suffer from a
lack of comfort and immediate injuries caused by hard surfaces, small
stones or similar resting on the surface. Kneeling implies a risk of illness
due to continuous pressure on the knees, including prepatellar hygroma. Knee protection
is therefore recommended.
