The motionSCOUT stand-alone personal alarm system detects any cessation of movement and triggers an automatic alarm. To enhance safety, the alarm can also be triggered manually. motionSCOUT is extremely easy to use. This sensitive, electronic immobility detector identifies all body movements.
This key-operated version of the motionSCOUT improves accountability in the incident center, where all keys are kept in one place. As a result, the incident center maintains permanent control over the number of people in action, and can search for injured users more quickly and efficiently.
The motionSCOUT's temperature sensor is triggered when the operating temperature range has been exceeded. This provides additional safety for the user.
- Simple operation: With its two buttons, operation is very simple and intuitive. The large button triggers the manual alarm, while the smaller one switches the device on. For added security, motionSCOUT can only be switched off by pressing both buttons at the same time. A two-tone LED indicates that the device is ready for use, with the green one showing that it is working properly and the red one indicating a low battery level.
-Rugged design: motionSCOUT's compact, rugged and waterproof (IP67) design is built to withstand the toughest applications. The integrated seal between the top and bottom of the housing ensures a good seal even when the batteries have been changed. Thanks to its sturdy suspension clip, the motionSCOUT can be easily and securely attached to either a shoulder strap or a belt.
Distinctive alarm system: The main alarm is dual; 95dB audible alarm at 3m and visual alarm via ultra-bright LEDs. In the event of immobility, the pre-alarm sounds after 25 seconds at a reduced volume. After a further 15 seconds of immobility, the second alarm sounds.
Low cost of ownership: motionSCOUT is maintenance-free, simply replacing the standard AA batteries. The standby time is extremely high, in excess of 200 hours, as is the alarm time, which sounds continuously for 10 hours.
