ATTENTION: the Complementary Grafting Tool must be used together with the 4T Grafting Pliers.

The "crown" graft! The Complementary Grafting Machine allows you to graft multiple scions, even of different species of the same genus (e.g. lemon and mandarin, or red rose and yellow rose) into a single rootstock.

How to use it: once the rootstock plant has been identified, the trunk is cut horizontally and, with the Complementary Grafting Machine, the incisions are made that will accommodate the scions (many incisions can be made along the perimeter of the trunk, to form a crown) then, with the 4T grafting machine, cut the scions, which will have the identical but mirror-like shape of the incisions on the rootstock. At this point, the scions are inserted, creating the multiple graft, called "crown".

The grafter is equipped with a "V" blade and an "Omega" blade (the same as the 4T grafter).

You can order replacement blades at the same time as your pliers, at a preferential price. See below (hold down Ctrl to select several).

Grafting is a cultural practice that allows you to obtain a new plant or new fruit by joining parts of two plants of the same species or family. Grafting allows the development and propagation of many plants, especially arboreal ones, or rather fruit-bearing ones. Performed with the right techniques and the right care, grafting allows you to obtain plants with excellent aesthetic yield and better quality fruit that are more resistant to phytopathogens and the most difficult climatic conditions. Among the plants to be grafted we also find citrus fruits, which can also be propagated by cuttings. Grafting allows you to grow different species of citrus fruit, with the guarantee of obtaining the same good fruit as the main plant in any case.
