Specially designed for stony soils, as in the Rhône Valley, the Fenox tether is now used in all French vineyards and abroad to anchor head stakes. Users praise its sturdiness, ease of transport and storage, anchoring efficiency, speed of installation and cost savings.
Installation of the Fenox mooring line requires only the simplest of equipment:
- A hammer A hammer: to drive in the mooring rope, then pull out the inner rods;
- An installation plate: to prevent the rope from sinking into the ground when the rods are deployed;
- A sinking tool: to prevent the anchor rods from rising;
- A mandrel: to deploy the rods that will grip the ground;
- A bracket : to attach the trellising wire.
